Contentment. It's still legal, isn't it?

My contentment, my well-being, my peace of mind has nothing to do with the choices I make or the outcome of those choices. My contentment must come solely from my connection with the Spirit of Life and Love that moves throughout our world. It is this connection that unites me with all life and all time.

This connection certainly informs my movements, my thoughts, and my actions; but it comes with no guarantees as to its efficacy in fulfilling my desires. When I act out of love, it is the impulse and not the results or reactions that brings peace. Hmmm...

"Brings peace" is not exactly correct, for peace is always present. Perhaps "illuminates peace" would be better? There is always peace, even in the midst of war and chaos--even if it appears non-existent.

Every hurricane has its eye, but it is madness to seek it out, is it not?

This is not who I am now. This is who I wish to be. This is my goal each day. But then, I have to step outside--my mind, my body, my front door, and failure usually occurs at those instances. But failure is always and only a part of non-failure (success), so while I may never get "there", I'm always There.

This is MY "Facebook"

Just as I left the public school arena to escape the complaining and negativity of the demoralized school teacher, I am leaving the complaining and negativity of the demoralized social media populace. Was I naive to believe I could escape complaining and negativity simply by changing job locale? Yes. Am I just as naive to believe I can escape the Facebook mentality? Perhaps.

But, there are no ads on my blog. There is nothing "added" beyond what I desire to have here. The only negativity (and stupidity) will be my own. Unless, of course, you wish to comment. So, this will be my forum, my kingdom, my place to deposit all those witty comments and inane comments and obtuse comments. And the good news is, they will be just as easily accessible as going to Facebook. In other words, I'm only a click away! Tell your friends! (But only those you don't really Like...)
